I served in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard. My husband served 5 yrs in the U.S Marine Corps. He is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and has deployed multiple times to Afghanistan. I have a long history of family members who have served in many Eras of Wars, deployments and missions, and a younger generation serving.
After honorably serving in the U.S. Air Force and Texas Air National Guard. I noticed the need for mental health clinicians for veterans, and many multi-cultural diverse communities. My focus is on guiding people to find a therapeutic healing so they can connect and thrive in their lives. I have worked with a broad variety of clients and serving Veterans from all eras suffering from mental health, psychosocial issues, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), families with complex trauma, addictions; declining health; advancing age; physical disabilities, infidelity, and family/relationship issues,
I believe in an integrated approach to therapy that is based on each client’s individual needs and preferences. I offer other treatments which we can discuss. I also offer evidence-based treatments such as EMDR. This journey can be a challenge but by connecting together we can improve your understanding of your challenges. I believe that you are entitled to your ownership in this healing journey and deserve genuine respect from a well-trained, warm and compassionate therapist.
